Ethics

 

The reputation and integrity of The Healing Station, Inc. are valuable assets that are vital to the Centers success.  Each associate of The Center, including each of The Center’s officers are responsible for conducting the Center’s business in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

The purposes of this Code of Business Conduct and Ethics are to focus and provide guidance to officers and associates to recognize and deal with ethical issues, and provide a mechanism to foster a culture of honesty and accountability.  No code of conduct can replace the thoughtful behavior of an ethical officer or associate.  Accordingly, dishonest or unethical conduct or conduct that is illegal will constitute a violation of this Code, regardless of whether the Code specially addresses such conduct.

The mission statement is the principle belief of our company. It must be known, owned, and energized by all.

  1. Our motto is “We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen.” As service professionals, we treat our clients and each other with respect and dignity.
  2. All associates will successfully complete training certification in their position, as well as continuing education to remain current with industry standards and techniques.
  3. The Center’s objectives are communicated to all associates. It is everyone’s responsibility to support these.
  4. To create pride and joy in the workplace, all associates have the right to be involved in the planning of the work that affects them.
  5. Each associate will constantly identify improvements that will assist with the success of the Center.
  6. It is the responsibility of each associate to create a work environment of teamwork and lateral service so that the needs of our clients and each other are met.
  7. Each associate is empowered. For example, when a client has a problem or needs something special you may break away from your regular duties, and address the issue.
  8. Uncompromising levels of cleanliness are the responsibility of each associate.
  9. To provide the finest personal service for our client, each associate is responsible for identifying and recording individual client’s preferences.
  10. Whoever receives a concern will resolve it to the client’s satisfaction or forward the clients concern to the appropriate person.
  11. “Smile we are on stage.” Always maintain positive eye contact. Use the proper vocabulary with our clients. (Use words like “good morning,”  “certainly”, I’ll be happy to”, and “my pleasure”.
  12. Be an ambassador to the Center in and outside of the workplace. Always talk positively. Communicate any concerns to the appropriate person.
  13. Escort clients rather than pointing out directions to another area of the Center.
  14. Take pride in and care of your personal appearance. Everyone is responsible for conveying a professional image by adhering to The Healing Station, Inc. clothing and grooming standards.
  15. Think safety first. Each associate is responsible for creating a safe, secure and accident-free environment for all clients and each other. Be aware of all fire and safety emergency procedures and report security risks immediately.
  16. Protecting the assets of The Healing Station, Inc. is the responsibility of every associate. Conserve energy, properly maintain our Center and protect the environment.
